WELCOME

TO MOSAIC

WHO WE ARE

Mosaic is a multi-campus, non-denominational church founded over 30 years ago by Pastors Erwin and Kim McManus in East Los Angeles—with no building, no budget, but a bold Manifesto and a dream to believe in people and help them discover their God-given purpose.

Today, Mosaic spans nine campuses across Los Angeles to Mexico City. We exist to declare the name of Jesus and to build a home for those who don’t have one.

At Mosaic, you can belong before you believe—we are a church for anyone and everyone, and we are committed to helping people find meaning, purpose, and community.

OUR MISSION

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
1 Corinthians 13:13

LIVE BY FAITH
Faith is not just belief, it’s a movement. It’s something we live out.

BE KNOWN BY LOVE
We want our reputation to be: "These are the most loving people in the world."

BE A VOICE OF HOPE TO THE WORLD
In a world where people are struggling, we want to be the people that speak hope.

BELIEVE. BELONG. BECOME.

THE FUTURE IS FULL OF HOPE.

YOU BELONG HERE.

BELIEVE. BELONG. BECOME. THE FUTURE IS FULL OF HOPE. YOU BELONG HERE.

OUR CORE VALUES

  • The Church is a movement, not an institution.

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:2

We have an agenda to share how Jesus has transformed our lives. If we lose our mission, we become just a social club.

  • The Church is relational, not programmatic.

“Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow out from within.” John 7:38

We are moved by love—not by the need to win arguments, but to serve people. Truth without love pushes people away; love opens hearts.

  • The Church is empowering, not controlling.

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5

Structure matters—but we are a living movement, not a machine. We follow where the Spirit leads, not just the strategies of the past.

  • The Church is incarnational, not esoteric.

“For our God is a consuming fire.”Hebrews 12:29

We are not against our city—we are for it. We listen, learn, and serve. We understand before we seek to be understood.

  • The Church is transforming, not conforming.

“Then the Lord God formed a man's body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And the man became a living person.” Genesis 2:7

You weren’t made to merely exist—you were created to create. The closer you get to God, the more solutions you see and the more beauty you bring.

OUR COMMITMENTS

  • PASSIONS

To love God with all of our heart mind soul and strength isn’t about being perfect but being perfected. This means we commit to living an honest and authentic life. Whenever we mess up, we come clean.

  • SERVICE

We move from spectators to participants. This means worshipping faithfully, discovering your gifts, and using them to serve others in our community.

  • RESOURCES

We commit to generosity—giving 10% of our income and beyond, believing that generosity is an act of worship and a source of blessing for others.

  • RELATIONSHIPS

We commit to building relationships inside and outside of Mosaic. This helps us deepen our love with each other and invite the outsider into what God is doing in our community. This keeps us healthy.
