Will Erwin still be speaking at the Pasadena location once the services are combined into a 9:45 service?
Jul 25th, 2006 at 2:45 pm
Erwin will remain our primary speaker at Pasadena even as we move to one gathering on July 30th. As always, when he is out of town, men and women from our teaching team will be speaking as well. Rickey Williams remains as our site catalyst for Pasadena.
Hope you can come out on Sunday!

Wow,
What canone say to finally getting confirmation about being a Barbarian. For years I have searched for some kind of link to connect with about being out there if you will concerning faith in action. I was given the barbarian book by some of the women at my church as agift after serving them in a particular wya and wow was I shocked to read about things I had felt since I was a child concerning my faith in Christ Jesus.
I am in your debt and thanking My Lord and Saviour for your writings here and believe me I am passing it on. I bought the last three copies of Barbarian way for three of the guys in my home fellowship and because I know the content of their hearts I await the same reactions as I had and am still experiencing. Today we served 350 people at a dowtown soup kitchen here in San Diego as I have for over 20 years now we did it today from a fresher outlook. I was speaking to our guests as if it was the first time I ever had.

I didn’t get a chance to ask where and when the volleyball day was but I have found it in the mosaic website so I will see everyone there. Do you need help setting up all the desks and things? Please let me know. Otherwise, I will see you there. Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,

Does Mosaic need any help with Parking ( persons directing traffic on Elizabeth Street ) on Easter Sunday ??
Apr 6th, 2007 at 12:02 pm
I think a good fund-raising event for the Mosaic summer missions groups would be an Open Mike Arts / Music Night with volunteer music groups performing for free, poetry readings, etc. Mosaic could take a voluntary $10 donation at the door and people could volunteer refreshments and food.
I would be happy to help out if Mosaic decided to stage an Open Mike Arts/Music Night at the John R. Mott Auditorium at William Carey International University.
Happy Easter.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

If any one at Mosaic is interested in Missions or Evangelization to the Hindu Culture or Unreached People Groups in India, there is a conference at William Carey International University in Pasadena from May 10 to May 12, 2007:
10 - 12 May 2007
The Hindu Christian Interface
The Hindu Christian Interface, a three-day training in Hindu ministry, will be held 10-12 May 2007 at the U.S. Center for World Mission in Pasadena, California, USA. This is sponsored jointly by the Rethinking Forum Network and the Institute of Hindu Studies of the USCWM. For details, contact info@rethinkingforum.com.
There are an estimated 850 million Hindus worldwide and India has a population that will soon surpass that of Communist China within 5 to 10 years.

Where’s the info about the South Bay Mosaic Beach party?
Jun 4th, 2007 at 12:16 pm
Hey my name is Nicole, I just recently just started volunteering doing Tech for the Mayan. Anyways, for the past three years I have been serving in high school ministry through my home church; Rolling Hills Covenant and this summer will be leading a group of students to Egypt. I know this isn’t with Mosaic but I was wondering if I could get some prayer at the Elements event as well. Let me know. Either way I will be there!
Thanks,
Nicole

How about New Year´s? Will you guys celebrate that together in any form?
Dec 10th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
Dear Mikael,
We’ll be having Sunday gatherings on Dec. 30th, but as far as New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, we do not have any formal plans to gather as a group.
We have a new calendar up where you can see the details of our upcoming schedule:

Dec 13th, 2007 at 1:19 pm
Hi,
What is the elements service?
Dec 13th, 2007 at 4:42 pm
Elements is an opportunity to step into further community outside of the Sunday gatherings. It usually includes presentation of new volunteer staff, or occasionally the teams going overseas. Communion is also a common part of Elements. Other than that, each location is developing a different “flavor” for Elements.

I’m not a member of Mosaic, but I occasionally try to make it to the Sunday night services at The Mayan. I heard that you will be meeting at a different location next week and wanted to know where that will be?
Apr 14th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Linda,
We’re actually meeting in different locations in two weeks (Sunday, April 27th). This coming Sunday, April 20th, we’ll still be at the Mayan.
On April 27th, we’ll be meeting in Hermosa Beach and also at the Highlands Club on the corner of Hollywood and Highlands. More details coming to the website soon!
May 4th, 2008 at 9:52 am
Hi, last week Pastor Erwin mentioned that there was a new service beginning at 4pm in Hermosa Beach. I haven’t seen any information about this. Can you please provide?
Thanks!
May 5th, 2008 at 11:31 am
Irene,
We are definitely pursuing how to do a 6-week series in the Hermosa Beach area. The details are being worked out but we will definitely put the info on the website once it’s finalized!
