Get Connected
Where do I start to get connected?
Everyone can do something to serve our community, our city, and our world! Not because Mosaic needs positions to be filled, but because everyone needs to live fulfilled lives by using our unique personalities, strengths, and gifts to care for and encourage others.
Would I really make a difference?
The name of our community comes from the diversity of the people in the community and from the symbolism of a broken and fragmented humanity which can become a work of beauty under the artful hands of God. Your unique piece in this art form is needed for the overall work of art that we call Mosaic. Your uniqueness, your heart, your passion, your willingness to serve others, and allow others to serve you, regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, is welcomed.
I’m ready! Who can I talk to?

Connection Team
The Connections team serves to connect new guests to people and opportunities to make Mosaic home. We’d like to think of ourselves as your first friends! We meet before the gathering to help with set up, greet at the door, and provide information about Mosaic to visitors. We answer questions like ‘Where can I find a community group?’ and ‘What events are happening this week that I can be a part of?’ If you love working with people and making them feel welcome, or if you are interested in serving but not sure where to start, the Connections team is a great place for you. Time commitment is 5 hours twice a month
Live Production
Live Production is comprised of the producer and a team of directors and stage managers, whose responsibility is to work with the Artisans, Setup and Connection teams to create a dynamic environment for authentic worship and effective communication while developing genuine community with each other. Time commitment: one Sunday a month and one team meeting per month
Community Groups
Community Groups meet during the week and focus on developing relationships and deepening community through shared experiences. We hope to create an environment that facilitates authentic friendships through discussion around the Scriptures, books, prayer and life. Time Commitment 2-3 hours per week
Music
The Mosaic Musician community is what you see on stage every Sunday, and so much more… serving opportunities behind the scenes, small groups, rehearsals and weekly hangouts. Time Commitment: 1-8 hours per week
Artisans
The Artisans team helps foster spiritual community among artists of all disciplines, encourages the creative life as an extension of the spiritual life and facilitates the sharing of artists’ creative work within the Mosaic community. Time commitment varies project to project but is typically 1-5 hours per week
Family/Kids
Mosaic Family Ministries is dedicated to caring for families as they live by faith, encouraging families to be known by love, and equipping families to be a voice of hope. The family and kids team oversees all family programs and focuses on kids between kindergarten and six years of age. Children’s programming ages babies-5th grade is offered in both 9:30am and 11:30am gatherings
Youth
We are a band of young misfits crazy enough to think that we can change the world. Our mission is to cultivate the untapped potential that lies within the students of LA and help them discover the life they were created to live. This becomes more of a reality each moment we choose to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope.
Whether it’s at our Sunday Gathering, Community Groups, Events, or starting something we’ve yet to think of, there’s plenty of opportunity for students to jump in and get connected.
Our Main Gathering is held on Sundays at 11:30a and includes programming for both Jr. High (6th-8th) & High School (9th-12th).
FORGE (Men)
FORGE, at Mosaic, launches community groups, sporting events, dinners, lunches, breakfasts, trips, and recovery groups throughout the year to make sure no man faces their journey in life without support, encouragement, and true brotherhood. Time Commitment: up to you!
SHE Community
The SHE community creates a space for women to build healthy relationships, serve the city and lead lives of truth and grace wherever we go. She at Mosaic is about women walking side-by-side and stepping in the light, realizing who they are and who they want to become. Time Commitment: up to you!
Cafe
The Hollywood cafe creates community through coffee and conversation! Every week we have an awesome time serving and connecting to those we meet. Time Commitment: Three hours on a Sunday, once or twice a month.
Culinary Team
As our gift of service, we share our love of food and community by preparing a meal each week for the volunteers who so diligently serve the Mosaic community. No cooking experience is necessary, just a willingness to laugh and learn. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per week
