Ben - Ben is from Alabama and has lived in Pasadena for about 5 years. He has served with the intermediate/junior high ministry at Mosaic for about 1 year. He previously served in the youth ministry. Altogether, he has been connected to Mosaic for about 3 years. He works full time for parking and security at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he also is a theology student. His hobbies include health and fitness activities, humor, and unique facial hair designs.
Eric and Lorina - Eric and Lorina have been with Mosaic for about 15 years, 2 ½ of which they have served in the jr high ministry. Eric got a Bachelor in Early Childhood development and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Cal State LA. Their whole family is going to Malaysia with Mosaic this summer, and has been overseas to Indonesia recently.
Ginger - Ginger is from Greenfield, Tennessee, but has lived in LA for 2 years. She studied Digital Media & Spanish at Union University in Tennessee. She is a ballroom dancing teacher, likes Moose tracks ice cream & Aqua fresh toothpaste.
Heather - Heather was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, California. She attended film school at USC. She accepted Jesus into her heart when she was 7 years old, but it was through Campus Crusade at USC that she discovered what a personal relationship with him was all about. After graduating in 2002, Heather got a job working at Warner Bros. Television. She came to Mosaic at the beginning of 2005. She likes to scrapbook, watch football, play mini golf, go line dancing, watch movies, go to Disneyland and spend money at Target. She uses Crest toothpaste, but every once in a while she tries something new like Colgate. But never Aquafresh mint flavor…that stuff is just gross.
Jesse - Jesse is originally from LA. He was been serving for 5 months at Mosaic with jr high. He is an electrician at Tek Systems. In high school he was the captain of his school’s football team. Speaking modestly, Jesse described himself as “pretty good” at football.
Lindsey - Lindsey is originally from Great Falls, VA. She has lived in LA since April of 2005. She is a graphic designer at a company here in LA called Threshold. She enjoys learning to play drums, was a cheerleader at James Madison University, where she got a Media Arts and Design Degree.
Matt - Matt is a man who loves life. His personal motto is “Live life to the max.” His “real” name is Matt “any sport ever invented” Wahlman. Matt has been a contestant on The Price is Right. He studied at Pepperdine University where he earned a degree in Economics, but he actually wants to teach middle school physical education. He likes citrus orange flavored toothpaste, and likes Mac computers better than PC.
Megan - Megan is from New Hampshire and has lived in LA for about a year and a half. She works as a pediatric nurse. She has been a Christian for almost 2 years. She claims that she is awesome at cranium. She likes the beach, reading, knitting, being outdoors, and line dancing. In school, she ran track, played soccer and lacrosse and now wants to learn to surf!
Ryan - Ryan Self is from St. Louis, MO. Lived in LA for only 4 months. He has a degree in Theatre: Performance, Communication: Radio/TV, and a minor in English: Creative writing. He started attending Mosaic 3 months ago and has become actively involved in jr high already. He loves frisbee, paintball, fencing, writing, improv, magic, voices and Dr. Pepper. Blam!
Preston - Preston was born in Dallas, TX but grew up in Connecticut. He has lived in LA for the last year and a half attending UCLA and majoring in chemical engineering. He has been a Christian as long as he can remember, and has been attending Mosaic since he’s lived in LA. He worked at a summer camp in New Hampshire with 7th and 8th graders. He likes ultimate frisbee, soccer, flag football, dodgeball, broomball, foosball, and ping pong. He likes solving Rubik’s cubes and sudoku puzzles. He likes to sing, play guitar, and loves eating sugar.
Katie - Katie is from Seal Beach, CA and attends Loyola Marymount University. She is majoring in International Business. She likes all sports and games, scrap booking and taking pictures, and she tutors at an elementary school.
Alice - Alice is from Federal Way, WA. She has lived in LA for 7 years. She attended USC where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, and a Masters in Historic Preservation. She has been a Christian and has attended Mosaic for 5 ½ years, and has served with jr high for 1 year. She likes preserving historic buildings, exploring LA, traveling around the world, throwing parties, and arts & crafts. Her favorite sports are kickball, swimming, water polo, and frisbee.
